Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Introduction

The International Journal of Engineering Concepts and Management welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of engineering, technology, management, and interdisciplinary sciences. Authors are requested to carefully read these submission guidelines before submitting their manuscripts to ensure a smooth and efficient editorial and peer-review process.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's submission requirements may be returned to the authors for revision before being considered for peer review.

Eligibility for Submission

Authors submitting manuscripts to the journal must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal or publisher.
  • All authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version.
  • The research complies with applicable ethical standards.
  • All sources of information have been appropriately acknowledged.
  • Any required permissions for copyrighted material have been obtained prior to submission.

Manuscript Preparation

Formatting Requirements

To facilitate editorial review and publication, authors should ensure that manuscripts meet the following formatting requirements:

  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • A4 page size.
  • Times New Roman, 12-point font.
  • 1.5 line spacing.
  • Standard page margins.
  • Continuous page numbering.
  • Figures and tables numbered sequentially with appropriate captions.
  • Equations formatted clearly and numbered where necessary.

Abstract and Keywords

Each manuscript should include an informative abstract summarizing the objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions of the study.

Authors should provide 3–8 keywords that accurately represent the subject matter of the manuscript and facilitate indexing and discoverability.

Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Material

Figures, tables, and supplementary files should be of high quality and clearly referenced within the manuscript. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all visual materials are accurate, properly labeled, and reproduced with the necessary permissions where applicable.

References

References should be accurate, complete, and consistently formatted throughout the manuscript. Every source cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and every reference listed should be cited within the manuscript.

Where available, authors are encouraged to include Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to improve the discoverability and accessibility of cited works.

Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's official online submission system.

The submission process generally includes the following steps:

  • Register or log in to the journal's submission portal.
  • Complete all required author and manuscript information.
  • Upload the manuscript and any supplementary files.
  • Review the submission details for accuracy.
  • Confirm compliance with the journal's ethical and editorial policies.

Editorial Screening and Peer Review

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are forwarded for peer review in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Policy.

Revision of Manuscripts

Where revisions are requested, authors should address all reviewer and editorial comments carefully and submit the revised manuscript within the timeframe specified by the Editorial Office. A detailed response explaining how each comment has been addressed is encouraged to facilitate further evaluation.

Publication Ethics

Authors are expected to comply with the journal's policies on publication ethics, plagiarism, authorship, conflicts of interest, copyright, and research integrity. Failure to comply with these policies may result in rejection of the manuscript or other appropriate editorial action.
