Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Engineering Concepts and Management welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of engineering, technology, management, and interdisciplinary research. Authors are encouraged to carefully review and comply with these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following categories of scholarly work:

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts using clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

The manuscript should generally include:

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Author name(s), affiliation(s), and institutional email address(es)
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (3–8 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review (if applicable)
  • Materials and Methods / Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (optional)
  • Funding Information (if applicable)
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • References

Formatting Requirements

  • Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Use A4 page size with standard margins.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Line spacing: 1.5.
  • Number all pages consecutively.
  • Figures and tables should be numbered sequentially and cited within the text.
  • Mathematical equations should be clearly formatted.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should briefly describe:

  • Background of the study
  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Key findings
  • Conclusion

Provide 3–8 relevant keywords immediately after the abstract.

References

Authors should ensure that all references are accurate, complete, and consistently formatted. The journal accepts internationally recognized citation styles where appropriate. Every reference cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

Where available, authors are encouraged to include:

  • DOI
  • ORCID (where applicable)
  • Complete publication details

Figures and Tables

  • Submit high-resolution figures.
  • All figures and tables must include descriptive captions.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material.
  • Images must not be manipulated in a way that alters the scientific findings.

Ethical Requirements

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the final version before submission.
  • Appropriate citations are provided for previously published work.
  • Any conflicts of interest are disclosed.
  • Research involving humans or animals has received the necessary ethical approvals.

Plagiarism Policy

The journal follows a strict policy against plagiarism. All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or falsification may be rejected immediately.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools

Authors may use AI-assisted tools to improve grammar, language, or readability. However:

  • Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the manuscript.
  • AI tools must not be listed as authors.
  • AI-generated content should be carefully reviewed and verified by the authors.
  • Any substantial use of AI tools should be disclosed where appropriate.

Submission Process

Authors should:

  1. Register or log in to the journal submission system.
  2. Complete all required author information.
  3. Upload the manuscript and any supplementary files.
  4. Confirm compliance with the journal's ethical and submission requirements.
  5. Submit the manuscript for editorial review.

Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous peer-review process. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, significance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain responsibility for the originality of their work and agree to the journal's copyright and licensing policies upon acceptance for publication.

Article Processing Charges

Any applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs), if required by the journal, will be communicated to authors before publication. There are no hidden publication charges.
